Introduction:
Glyoxylate cycle is a modified version of the citric acid cycle. In plants, it takes place in the cell organelle known as glyoxysomes, which is a form of peroxisome. Through this proces, sn case photosynthesis does not occur, stored oil present in the seed isconverted into simple carbohydrate. This cycle does not occur only in plant, sertain fungi, and bacteria, this cycle takes place in the cytoplasm.
