Concept Introduction:
Condensed Formula: The molecule is the formula where the symbols of atoms are listed in order as they appear in the molecules structure with bond dashes omitted or limited.
- 1. A molecular formula explained only the number of atoms of each element in a molecule of the compound.
- 2. Condensed structure shows all atoms, but it omits the vertical bonds and most or all of the vertical bonds and most or all of the horizontal single bonds.
