1. Only primitive forms may be returned by Java methods.
Evaluating Postfix Expression
The Postfix notation is used to represent algebraic expressions. The expressions written in postfix form are evaluated faster compared to infix notation as parenthesis are not required in postfix. We have discussed infix to postfix conversion in the class.
Write a Java program that will input a valid postfix expression. The expression may accept a whole number or a real number. Every operand and operator should be separated by a space. Make sure to trap possible errors.Sample Output (Must be implement in GUI)
Exercise 10
Automatic type conversion is called coercion. For example, if an int variable and a float variable are added in Java, the value of the int variable is coerced to float and a floating-point add is done.
True or False

- please do the following in c++ A school has 100 lockers and 100 students. All lockers are closed on the first day of school. As the students enter, the first student, denoted S1, opens every locker. Then the second student, S2, begins with the second locker, denoted L2, and closes every other locker. Student S3 begins with the third locker and changes every third locker (closes it if it was open, and opens it if it was closed). Student S4 begins with locker L4 and changes every fourth locker. Student S5 starts with L5 and changes every fifth locker, and so on, until student S100 changes L100.After all the students have passed through the building and changed the lockers, which lockers are open? Write a program to find your answer and display all open locker numbers separated by exactly one space.(Hint: Use an array of 100 bool elements, each of which indicates whether a locker is open (true) or closed (false). Initially, all lockers are closed.)arrow_forward// The language is java Part I: Use of recursive method (4 points for students who need recursion/extracredit) Description: Code a class called RecursiveMultiply in which it will accept two integer arguments entered from user; pass these integers to a recursive method that returns the multiplication result of these two integers. The multiplication can be performed as repeated addition, for example, if two integers are 7 and 4: 8 * 4 = 4 + 4 + 4 + 4 + 4 + 4 + 4 + 4 You will write the application with GUI and recursion to display the result in a noneditable text field, based on the user’s entry from two text fields, while an OK button is pressed. You will utilize the exception handling code as you did in your Lab 4 and Lab 5 to verify if data entered in the text fields are valid (numerical and positive data only). You will make your own decision if there is any explanation that is not described in this specification. Finally, code a driver program that will test your class…arrow_forward5. Use line breaks and indent your code. Use naming conventions for variables, functions, methods, and more. This makes it easier to understand the code. - Book: C++ Programming: From Problem Analysis to Program Design 8th edition, D. S. Malik In C++ In this programming exercise, you use abstract classes and pure virtual functions to design classes to manipulate various types of accounts. For simplicity, assume that the bank offers three types of accounts: savings, checking, and certificate of deposit, as described next. Savings accounts: Suppose that the bank offers two types of savings accounts: one that has no minimum balance and a lower interest rate and another that requires a minimum balance and has a higher interest rate. Checking accounts: Suppose that the bank offers three types of checking accounts: one with a monthly service charge, limited check writing, no minimum balance, and no interest; another with no monthly service charge, a minimum balance requirement, unlimited check writing, and lower interest; and a third with no monthly service charge, a higher minimum requirement, a higher interest rate, and unlimited check…arrow_forward"Friend function breaches the encapsulation", justify. This Person definitely needs a partner! Thus, we need to update our Person's design to have a gender as well and there shall be male and female! Instructions: In the code editor, you are provided with the definition of a struct Person. This struct needs an integer value for its age. Furthermore, you are provided with a displayPerson() function which accepts a struct Person as its parameter. Your task is to first update the struct Person so that it can have a gender as well. For this program, we shall represent a gender with a single character: 'M' for male and 'F' for female. Then, create a Person, take in an integer user input and a character user input, and then set them as the Person's age and gender respectively. Finally, call the displayPerson() function and pass that Person you created. Input 1. The age of the Person 2.…arrow_forward
