The expression to calculate the density is,

ρ=mV

Here, ρ is the density, m is the mass, and V is the volume

The expression for the volume of the cylinder is,

V=πd2h4

Here, d is the diameter and h is the length

Use πd2h4 for V in density expression and rewrite

ρ=mπd2h4=4mπd2h        (I)

Conclusion:

Substitute 3.23cm for h, 1.75cm for d, and 65.3g for m in (I).

ρ=4(65.3g)π(1.75cm)2(3.23cm)=8.41g/cm3

Therefore, the density of the cylinder is 8.41g/cm3 and material it is likely to be Brass.
