Introduction:
Hypothalamus is located in the brain, above the pituitary gland. It secretes Oxytocin and Antidiuretic hormones and controls the pituitary gland. Pituitary glands contain oxytocin and antidiuretic hormone, both are synthesized by the hypothalamus. ADH is released through the supraoptic nucleus of the hypothalamus initially.
