Hello there again. To start off, I AM BLIND AND CAN NOT READ IMAGES YOU MAY ATTEMPT TO RESPOND WITH. Please do not do that, it wastes your time and mine and would just like it written out in text like what you are litterly reading right now. Thank you for understand. will give great possitive remarks.
So the question I am working on I have 1 part left and am not sure on how to calculate the final part.
THE DESCRIPTION TELLS ME :
A CIRCUIT INCLUDES 9 capacitors. The circuit has end points A and B. Capacitor C Capacitor C_1 is next to point A. Another capacitor c_1 is next to point B. Between these two capacitors, capacitor c_2 is connected parallel with the following combination. capacitor c_1 is between c_2 and point C. on the other side of c_2, another capacitor c_1 is between c_2 and point D.There are two parallel branches between points C and D. There is one more capacitor c_2 on the first branch, and there are three capacitors c_1 in series on the second branch.…
Answer the following questions and pick an answer from the choices given.
A practical 1 mF capacitor can be represented by an equivalent circuit that is composed of and ideal capacitor with a large shunt resistance of 10 Mega-Ω and a small series of 100 Ω as shown in Figure 2 in the attached file.
(a) Once fully charged by the 12 V source, find the voltage across the capacitor one hour after it was removed from the source.
1) 12 V
2) 6.92 V
3) 8.37 V
4) 0 V
(b) Nearly how much time will it take for the capacitor to completely self-discharge.
1) 2.5 hrs
2) 3.6 hrs
3) 13.9 hrs
4) 5.1 hrs
(c) Starting from a fully-discharged capacitor, nearly how long will it take to charge it from the 12 V source?
1) 3.8 sec
2) 125 sec
3) 12.6 sec
4) 0.5 sec
8.18. Suppose that each cell in a 1-Gbit memory chip
must be refreshed every 10 ms. What is the power
dissipated in refreshing the chip if the cell capac-
itance is 100 fF and the cell voltage is 3.3 V? As-
sume that 50 percent of the cells have 1 bits stored
and that the cell voltage is completely discharged
and restored during the refresh operation.
