Concept introduction:
Nursing-sensitive outcomes are the outcome of the patient and nursing workforces that are related directly to the nursing management such as patient’s experience change in symptoms, safety, functional status, registered nurse job satisfaction, psychological distress, costs, and the total nursing hours per patients in a day. The nurse will assume responsibility and accountability for accepting and achieving the significances of these nursing-sensitive outcomes.
