Introduction: Antibodies are immunoglobulins secreted by B lymphocytes with the response to an invading organism. Antibodies have a paratope that binds with the antigen epitope forming an antigen‑antibody complex. The formation of the antigen‑antibody complex allows the ingestion of antigen by receptor-mediated endocytosis followed by the degradation of an antigen.
