Convenience sampling

Convenience sampling refers to the sampling method in which the sample is being selected by the researcher on the convenience of researcher. For e.g. doing survey at the mall etc.

In the given survey researcher has surveyed the first 100 students as per their convenience, so it a type of convenience sampling.

To explain the reason due to which the given sampling is biased.

Explanation of Solution

Since the researcher have surveyed the first 100 students, which is not certainly represents the entire population of high school students, it might be possible that a certain group or the mind-set of the students comes first every day and also the no. of hours 7.2 is reasonably low as per the need of the students, so the sample is biased.
