The leaflets of plant Mimosa pudica have the ability to close in response to being touched. The rate of closing and reopening of leaflets can be measured by measuring the change in the distance between opposing leaflets after being touched. The two graphs showing d/dmax (actual leaflet distance relative to maximal leaflet distance) versus time taken by the leaflets to close and open.
