Summary Introduction

To determine: The effect of the structure of the digestive tract in different invertebrates on the size of the organism they can eat.

Introduction:

For example, the sponges have a filter feeding mechanism in which they take up water from the surrounding in their siphons and filters it to obtain microbes or nutrient particles and utilize it as a source of food.

Contrast the feeding strategies and the structure of the digestive systems of each of the three type following (Demosponge; a sea anemone - class Anthozoan; and earthworm). In discussing the structure analyze the efficiency  of each system and what constraints the structure of the system places on the type of food that can be fed on.
For Phylum Echinodermata, Class Crinoidea Ecology. Describe/answer the following for each organism:a. Does it have a complete or incomplete digestive system? How does this animal feed?b.
