Concept explainers
To Identify:Some magnetic force around here and the way to demonstrate their effects
Explanation of Solution
Introduction:
A magnet is a material in which domains are aligned in one direction and so, it is able to attract other magnetic materials. A moving charged particle also generates magnetic field around it. Magnetic field around a magnet is a region where magnet has an influence. The field lines are imaginary lines which represent the force field around the magnet.
Some of the magnetic forces around here are generated due to earth’s magnetic field, refrigerator etc. Their effects can be demonstrated by using a magnetic material or a magnet.
