To Compare: Kirchhoff’s loop rule with walk around in a loop on the side of a hill.
Explanation of Solution
Introduction:
As per Kirchhoff’s loop rule, the sum of all the electric voltage is zero in a loop.
When a person walks in a loop on the side of a hill and comes back to starting point, then net change in gravitational potential energy is zero. The potential energy gained going uphill is equal to the loss in the potential energy lost downhill. It is analogous to Kirchhoff’s loop rule. When the current travels in a circuit, the net change in electric potential is zero.
