Introduction:

Flatworms are the organisms that belong to the phylum “Platyhelminthes”. These organisms are protostomes as the first opening of their embryo develops into a mouth. The body structure of flatworm is very simple as they have a flat body with no body cavity. There is only the gastro vascular cavity in these organisms. They are considered to be the organisms that contain the simplest organs system. Tapeworm is a type of flatworm species.
