18. Count the Trail
by CodeChum Admin
Help, I'm lost!
I usually find my way around here but I somehow lost my glasses along the way. I can easily get back home as long as I can tell how many zeroes I left in my trail. Would you mind telling me how many zeroes are trailing?
Note: Trailing zeroes are the zeroes found at the right side of a number.
Input
1. The number to be evaluated
Constraints
This can only be a positive integer.
Output
The first line will contain a message prompt to input the number to be evaluated. The second line will contain the number of trailing zeroes.
Enter·the·number:·24100
Trailing·zeroes·=·2

- (Numerical) a. Write a C++ program that accepts an integer argument and determines whether the passed integer is even or odd. (Hint: Use the % operator.) b. Enter, compile, and run the program written for Exercise 8a.arrow_forward4. During each summer, John and Jessica grow vegetables in their backyard and buy seeds and fertilizer from a local nursery. The nursery carries different types of vegetable fertilizers in various bag sizes. When buying a particular fertilizer, they want to know the price of the fertilizer per pound and the cost of fertilizing per square foot. The following program prompts the user to enter the size of the fertilizer bag, in pounds, the cost of the bag, and the area, in square feet, that can be covered by the bag. The program should output the desired result. However, the program contains logic errors. Find and correct the logic errors so that the program works properly. // Logic errors. #include #include using namespace std; int main() { double costs double area; double bagsize; cout > bagsize; cout > cost; cout > area; cout << endl; cout << "The cost of the fertilizer per pound is: $" << bagsize / cost << endl; cout << "The cost of fertilizing per square foot is: $" << area / cost << endl; return 0; }arrow_forward4. Instructions: In the code editor, you are provided with a function that checks whether a number is even or odd. Your task is to ask the user for the number of integer, n, they want to input and then the actual n number values. For each of the number, check whether it is even or odd using the function provided for you. Make sure to print the correct, required message. Input 1. Integer n 2. N integer valuesarrow_forward
- use c# You are given two dices. Each dice has 6 faces and can generate a number between 1 and 6. The minimum number generated by the two dice is 2 and maximum number is 12. Throw the dice and if the number generated is less than 7 than you lose and if it is greater or equal to 7 than you win. You will make use of Random function and a selection structure (if/else) to write the code.arrow_forwardPlease do not refuse my homework :) It is very important to me. Homework will be solved with visual studio c# program. Write a program that has the followings:1) A text will be entered by the user.2) After getting the text, the followings will be displayed: First occurence order of each character will be displayed under “Occurence order” title.Character will be displayed under “Character” title. How many times the character is used in the text will be displayed under “Amount of occurence” title. (In short, it will be like the black output screen in the picture)3)At page 2, the flowchart of the solution key of this homework is attached. Group the hours into cases that should be handled similarly (e.g., 1:00 am to 11:00 am are handled the same). Declare variables for hoursAmPm, minAmPm, and hours24.
