Chapter 2, Problem 13RA
Summary Introduction
To determine:
RNA and DNA
Introduction:
The basic structural units of DNA and RNA are nucleotides, which include nitrogen bases, ribose sugar, and phosphate group. The nitrogen bases include adenine, thymine, guanine, and cytosine whereas in RNA, uracil is found in the place of thymine and rest are the same. Adenine pairs with thymine/uracil with two hydrogen bonds and guanine pairs with cytosine with three hydrogen bonds.
