Chapter 10, Problem 4AW
Program Plan Intro
Overriding:
- • Method overriding means having multiple methods with same name and same signature in combination of base class and derived class.
- • The derived class method overrides the base class method when method in derived class has same name as method in base class.
- • For overriding the properties, the base class properties can be overridden in similar way that base class methods can be overridden.
- ○ The virtual property is a property that appears in a base class but expects to be overridden in a derived class.
- ○ In base class, programmer need to write “virtual” keyword in base class method declaration and “override” keyword in derived class method declaration.

A class named Wave has a virtual property named Frequency. A class named Sound is derived from the Wave class. Write example code showing how the Frequency property might appear in the Sound class.
When you pass an object that is an instance of a class as an argument, what is passed into the parameter variable?
Pyhton Code:
Create a Pizza class which stores information about a single pizza. It contains the following:
-Instance variables to store the size of the pizza (small, medium or large), (1)the number of cheese toppings, (2)the number of pepperoni toppings, and the (3) number of mushroom toppings.
- Constructor: that takes four arguments and sets all of the corresponding instance variables
and that initializes all instance variables to the zero of their type.
- Methods to get (accessor) and set (mutator) each instance variable individually.
- A method called calcCost() that returns the cost of the pizza. Pizza cost is determined by: Small: $10 + $2 per topping Medium: $12 + $2 per topping Large: $14 + $2 per topping.
-A method which returns a string for the pizza size, quantity of each topping, and the pizza cost as calculated by the following example, a large pizza with 1 cheese, 2 pepperoni and 1 mushroom toppings should cost $22 (you can overwrite __str__).
