Unit 5 Assignment 2

This is a report which has been created to introduce new childcare practitioners to safeguarding within a childcare setting. This will help new practitioners to understand current legislations within the United Kingdom.

1. The cartoon is of a Mongolian man's head, with eight tentacles spreading out. Each tentacle contains unwanted things that the illustrator thinks the Mongolians will take with them into Australia, should there be an influx of immigrants. The head if the man is drawn in a menacing manner, with an unfriendly scowl and two buck teeth that have a gap the size of another tooth between them. The multiple alleged vices of the Mongolians include: cheap labour, pak ah-pu (a gambling game), immorality, small-pox and typhoid, opium, bribery, fan-tan (another gambling game) and customs robbery. The fact that the man is depicted as an octopus implies that the Mongolians are thought of as slimy, unclean and therefore subordinate and perhaps the fact that the Asians would get a 'hold' on Australia.

The latest action on this bill was made by House Education and the Workforce on April 29, 2015. The type of action was Committee Consideration.

In 1996 the largest population consisted of people aged 30-50, there were not as many people in the dependency load. In 2011, there were more people aged 40-65, who are getting close to retirement. There are not as many babies being born today as previous years because people are choosing to not have as many children. The baby boomers are getting older and there will soon be more people in the dependency load as the workforce. In 2011 there were more people ages 85 and up because nowadays people have been able to live longer.

There were three primary goals that this particular project set out to achieve. First was to ensure all parents and guardians had access to K12, MPS websites and enrollment information, including LEP families. When this project was initiated no K12 MPS, or the national K12 sites had a way for LEP parents to access information in their primary language or contact information on how to obtain an interpreter. At the conclusion of the 2015/2016 academic year, 100% of K12 MPS’s have information on their websites on the process and phone number to obtain an interpreter.

At first I did not not feel very confident when trying to answer this question because I could not remember the method involved when converting scale. I was able to interpret the question and I understood what it required; however, I could not recall the process involved in reaching the answer. After trying a few different methods and giving it some thought, I remembered what to do. I had learnt how to answer these questions in high school geography and I still had the knowledge, but I just had to go through the process of recalling it. So, the method I used to solve the problem was to write out the scale used in the diagram as a ratio, simplify it and then convert it to a written statement. Thus, I was unsure about how to answer this question

When I first ran the coding, the program was not working. Using the debugger, I found out that the program was not reading the file. By looking into the variables, I noticed that the some data were missing. The following is the list of my correction to fix the coding.

Stu, I do not believe that a high substrate (PTFE fabric 7069) will impact the users of our premium “P” tape product, it may even enhance the life span. Airtech would be the only one I would question, but would probably risk a small order first before fulfilling any large quantity order for them, unless we have an Airtech spec in place for this item that would hinder the use of 6this item. Have we compared prior runs of this item sold to Airtech? Just my thoughts. Or release it for Taconic Canada, Can-Do, Nott Company, and Tapes and Technical only.

Initial groups were based on end of year 2017 result/benchmark and have been assessed and grouped to skills and needs for higher order thinking and grouped accordingly. Groups are based on teacher observation and current assessments and will be adjusted to accommodate the needs and abilities of the students during year. The class has been divided into five literacy groups.

You say that “The main issues that are to be addressed when dealing with the homeless youth are their concerns as a whole meaning what they believe should be addressed”. What are these issues? I think it may be helpful to define homeless youth with an age range and then include data telling the percentage of people within that age range who are homeless. Also are you targeting homeless youth or homeless children, or both? The reader wants to know why the project is relevant. On 07/11/2016 at approximately 1149 hours, I, Security Officer James A-10280, was notified by a guest of a African American male selling a iPod on the Tulalip Casino Gaming floor. I made contact with a guest now known to me as Wade Maurice DOB: 08/24/83, who stated that he was trying to sell the IPod. I explained to Mr. Wade that selling any items in the casino is not aloud, and he would have to leave all Tulalip Gaming establishments for no less then 24 hours. Security Shift Supervisor Randy Stewart was notified.

The internal factors to be considered when planning the human resource requirements for an organisation are the internal planning force, demands for products/services, technological change, skill requirements, workforce profiles (age, gender, ethnicity, ability) and new markets. Internal planning factors are within the business to help the organisation change to cope with new methods of work or new demands; it may be the business is being introduced to new technology or new product lines. Also it maybe developing new skill so that the workforce can work more efficiently.
