She will need accommodations such as extended time and Shortened Assignments to allow her to process information and respond to questions and prompts to the best of her ability. Crystal will need explicit instruction on basic comprehension skills in addition to scaffolding of grade level expectations. Adverse Impact Based on Crystal's current levels of functioning in Mathematics, Crystal has been able to make progress in the general education setting with a limited understanding. Crystals basic math skills and problem solving skills may cause her to not understand mathematic process if they are involved with these essential skills. Based on interaction and informal observations of crystal in both Special and General education settings, Crystal struggles to complete operations such as long division past a decimal, multiplication with regrouping and skip counting by numbers as low as
When I first ran the coding, the program was not working. Using the debugger, I found out that the program was not reading the file. By looking into the variables, I noticed that the some data were missing. The following is the list of my correction to fix the coding.
Taking on the role as a teacher puts me in a leadership role. I chose for my artifact the ESO online training from Mr. Moss, EDEE 4330 Math class. Math seems to be the subject across the board most people is afraid of, but the ESO training provided fatal information for student’s success. I understand that I am responsible for setting an example for my students that I would be proud of them to emulate. I would love for my students to follow in my footprints and make a difference in others’ lives. It has been said, “it takes a village to raise a child”, and I know that I can be most effective when I reach out to families, colleagues, and the community, to employ the approach. It takes all that to raise well-adjusted productive members of our community, being it locally or
You say that “The main issues that are to be addressed when dealing with the homeless youth are their concerns as a whole meaning what they believe should be addressed”. What are these issues? I think it may be helpful to define homeless youth with an age range and then include data telling the percentage of people within that age range who are homeless. Also are you targeting homeless youth or homeless children, or both? The reader wants to know why the project is relevant. In order to determine relevance the problem clearly defined and data needs to be used to support the
Every day, mathematics is used in our lives. From playing sports or games to cooking, these activities require the use of mathematical concepts. For young children, mathematical learning opportunities are all around them. Knaus (2013) states that ‘Young children are naturally curious and eager to learn about their surroundings and the world they live in’ (pg.1). Children, young and old, and even adults, learn when they explore, play and investigate. By being actively involved, engaging in activities that are rich, meaningful, self-directed and offer problem solving opportunities, children given the chance to make connections with their world experiences (Yelland, Butler & Diezmann, 1999). As an educator of young children,
Today in literacy time Miss B asked me to support student M. It was my first time that I was responsible for a student.
The SONET is a heavily multiplexed structure and with the header it can insert the data between the systems in a typical way. Here it’s give permit to have its own encapsulated data frame to float around its own system SONET/SDH and rate. This interleaving method is giving access to very less concealment for to encapsulate the data. Data is delayed mostly compared with frame rate here. Here SONET using padding method to multiplexing the data to transfer within the frame rate and here the data is clocked in completely disparate than the frame rate to transfer more data to be multiplexed.
The article I found from The Washington Post is entitled Supreme Court sets higher bar for education of students with disabilities. It was published on March 22, 2017. It is in the “Courts and Law” section of the paper. (I will include an APA citation with the website to this article.)
Stormy is in my class this year, and so I know her strengths are that she loves to read just about anything she can, she is in the advanced level of reading and vocabulary group. On the oral language reading test, she read all three stories and told each story back to me. She does very well with speaking clearly and with great ease, Stormy said that her mom read to her as she grew up. Another strength that she has been that she has great writing skills, reading skills and sounding skills and she can spell all the challenge words each week. She is at a fifth grade level for reading, writing, and math. Stormy loves to read out of the Reading Street Book (Pearson,

The psychologist at school was called in to do an assessment on Katherine. It was discovered that her IQ scores were below 70 in “adaptive skills deficits in the sensorimotor, communication, and self- help” (Parritz & Troy, 2014). When writing a lesson plan, I always have my students who need accommodations and modifications in mind. My education has been centered around students with special education needs and the students I have had the opportunity to work with require modifications. To ensure I am the best teacher I can be, I need to ensure I have incorporate all my students’ abilities into the lesson plan so they can reach their maximum potential.

The initial step in the special education process is to identify if a child needs special services. Bryanna has been spotted by here teachers as a student that is struggling in math and reading. Her test scores being as low as they have red flagged her for student that might need more help than others. This can be initiated by an administrator, teacher, or a parent that may think that a student needs to evaluate. In any situation a parent will have to give the school a written consent for their child to be evaluated. The school system has 60 days to complete the evaluation of the student. In Bryanna’s situation,
