Recommendation
After researching and evaluating these two choices, I have determined that the Dell OptiPlex 9030 is the ideal option for Pennsylvania State University Mont Alto. I have included a decision matrix, as shown as Table 1 below, that visually displays how I determined the OptiPlex 9030’s superiority. The methodology behind Table 1 is explained within the Decision Matrix sub-section. Lastly, I will conclude this section and the report with my Decision and Reasoning sub-section.

First I broke down the criteria in this report and assigned weights. The weights determine which level of importance each criterion had. The higher weight figure was, the more important that aspect was. After the weights were determined,

This is why the 9030 receives twice the score of the 9020. According to Mark Knapp, lead PC reviewer on cheatsheet.com, “The RAM in a computer can affect just how much multitasking can go on and how fast it will be.” Basically the more RAM available allows the PC to run more and more programs simultaneously. This benefit becomes essential for a college student or staff member that may have to juggle 2-3 Microsoft Office programs, an internet explorer window with twelve open tabs, and an interactive laboratory program like DataStudio without sluggish PC performance. Another major contributor to PC performance is the processor. The 9030’s Intel i7 is the latest Intel processor on the market. According to Joel Domingo, lead desktop analyst for PC Magazine, “the Core i7 processors have more capabilities than the Core i5 CPUs. They will be better for multitasking, multimedia tasks, high-end gaming, and scientific work” (Domingo, 2015c). PSUMA placed PC performance as a second level priority, or a weight of three in Table 1. The 9030’s performance scores were considerably higher than the 9020s in Table 1. Since PSUMA is also a center for academic research in areas such as natural sciences, computing sciences and various forms of engineering, the 9030’s level of computing power would prove to be a valuable …show more content…
PSUMA considers the installation timelines to be just as important as costs. This can be seen from the data in Table1. Project timeline criterion was given a weight of 4. The overall 9020 project would take ten days to complete, at ten hours per day. The 9030 only takes 7 days to complete, at ten hours a day. Completing the project as quickly as possible is another way the university can reach out to student and staff morale. As previously discussed the students and staff have complained about dysfunctional PCs and wasting of student funds. Choosing the 9030 allows the campus to get those new PC assets installed quickly, providing the new computing power to combat negative opinions in that category as well as save $1620.00 in student funds that would pay for excess labor in the 9020’s
I have a long list of scholarships that I have decided to apply for. The scholarships focus on my likes and I chose the ones that I knew would be the most achievable. The deadlines for all the scholarships are close together so it gives me a heads up that I am going to need to start them before senior year has began. The scholarships are: Earth Day Award which is for $500 and the deadline is 2/29/16, Protect the Elephants which is for $3,000 and the deadline is 3/31/16, National WWII which is for $1,000 and the deadline is is TBD, Joe Foss Institute which is $5,000 and the deadline is TBD, B’nai B’rith International which is for $5,000 and the deadline is 3/25/16, “No Essay” Scholarship which is for $2,000 and the deadline is 3/31/16,
Laura Wallen. My teacher and class sponsor Ms.Wallen was killed during the first week of my senior year. If I had one more chance to talk to her I would be ecstatic. I would want to talk to her because she was one of the first teachers I met in high school. Having Ms.Wallen as a teacher who was always here supporting me was a great feeling. Every Time I saw Ms.Wallen she was smiling. During our homecoming week we would have to design a hallway and even with little to no supplies and only a few class council member, she would make it feel like we were winners. I would want to talk about college applications and all of the senior year events we were planning together. I would want to tell her that I love her and that her support from the beginning
The game was about the following direction while creating different shapes using mathematical concepts such as lines, left and right. I had to create figures with blocks as I moved along. There were several sections that I had to complete. Each section was getting a little more complicated to accomplish because there were more steps to follow. You can say that we had to use algorithms because we had to follow a process to problem solve. I had to read and know which direction I would choose so that my character would finish their task. In order to pass to the next level, you were supposed to finish the first puzzle or section that you were on. The game that I had did not provide hints like the first one that I tried. The game had a lot of repetition which provided a choose for several turns in one.
There were three primary goals that this particular project set out to achieve. First was to ensure all parents and guardians had access to K12, MPS websites and enrollment information, including LEP families. When this project was initiated no K12 MPS, or the national K12 sites had a way for LEP parents to access information in their primary language or contact information on how to obtain an interpreter. At the conclusion of the 2015/2016 academic year, 100% of K12 MPS’s have information on their websites on the process and phone number to obtain an interpreter.
On 07/11/2016 at approximately 1149 hours, I, Security Officer James A-10280, was notified by a guest of a African American male selling a iPod on the Tulalip Casino Gaming floor. I made contact with a guest now known to me as Wade Maurice DOB: 08/24/83, who stated that he was trying to sell the IPod. I explained to Mr. Wade that selling any items in the casino is not aloud, and he would have to leave all Tulalip Gaming establishments for no less then 24 hours. Security Shift Supervisor Randy Stewart was notified.
Hi Ms. Arlene, As discussed, Shell renewed their placement until Nov. 09, 2015. Per agreement we will continue our queuing in the said site. Also to include in queuing is the north bound faced of the billboard. Hope you can sign the revised conforme for site assurance.
Rick , your post is very productive. We need also start asking the stakeholders regarding the network side which will feed the database also. Security should be a very important issue since most database deal with PI's and other sensitive information. Also, the kind of encryption the stakeholder will use is important. SSL and IPSEC could be great help to secure payments transactions with cards. I absolutely agree with your concern of the use of excel datasheet old solution which is obsoltete and is counterproductive.
Under Part 4 of Section 4 we are informed when assessing capacity we must ‘permit and encourage a person to participate or to improve his or her ability to participate as fully as possible in making an informed decision which affects his future’.
This week was a little harder comparing to last; well it is expected because we are getting more into how to create a more dependable database. The topics for this week were “The problem of redundancy, Decompositions, Functional Dependencies and normal forms. We learned how to recognize and avoid the problem redundancy in database along with how to convert database schema into first, second, third normal forms.
My first assignment required me to make a plan of my essay, find a topic and create a research question. I struggled to find a subject at first since I didn’t want to use the idea I created in CCT109. I decided to choose something that I’m familiar with which was Facebook. As I was doing research I came up with a proposal which was to discuss the kinds of online relationships explored through Facebook. As well as evaluate the difference between online and face to face relationships. After handing in the assignment, I was able to receive constructive feedback from my TA. He wasn’t able to see a specific topic coming through and suggested to ‘‘redo’’ my research. I recognized my errors because he was able to provide a different opinion on my
Intel core i3 CPU is have good performance than the core 2due, dual core PC and the third- generation Core i3-3220, appears to follow in that tradition. It’s a dual-core Ivy Bridge CPU that runs at a maximum clock speed of 3.3GHz and has 3MB of Intel Smart Cache. By of these requirements this CPU is better to the BCAS administrative department.

The only challenge I am having so far in HI150 is coding from the ICD-10 book. Finding the code is not that hard, but figuring out which order the codes go in is a little more difficult. I think if I pay attention, take notes, and ask as much questions as needed I will be able to overcome this challenge. I also think once I keep practicing and become familiar with the ICD-10, it won't be as hard.
I believe most of the general populations are aware of how rapidly technology evolves. I will start by giving a little bit of background into my own computer system. I purchased my Desktop computer system in late October 2008. At the time I was set to begin a journey into the world of higher education and needed a computer that could keep up with me. As I did my research into what was on the market that would fit not only my budget, but the needs I believe I needed. I quickly found I was not interested in anything that was on the market in stores, simply because of
