On the first day the student will lose 5%, on the second and third day the student will
lose 1%. The percentage late penalty will be 7% for three days.

What is the Prof’s 24-hour policy concerning requests for an extension? Explain.
If a student needs an extension, they cannot request it within 24 hours of the due date
for the assignment. Students need to ask at least 24 hours before it is due.
