I did not understand this c++ code, please help me solve my confusion.  In the first void function, we can enter a number for *input, but why in the second void function use *val to calculated the value I entered for the first void function. I think one is *input, and the second one is *val.  #include using namespace std;  void getNumber(int *input);  void doubleValue(int *val);  int main() {     int number;      getNumber(&number);     doubleValue(&number);           cout<<"That value doubled is"<>*input;  } void doubleValue(int *val) {     *val *=2;

In the first void function, we can enter a number for *input, but why in the second void function use *val to calculated the value I entered for the first void function. I think one is *input, and the second one is *val.

#include <iostream>
using namespace std;

void getNumber(int *input);
void doubleValue(int *val);

int main()
{
    int number;
    getNumber(&number);
    doubleValue(&number);

    cout<<"That value doubled is"<<number<<endl;

    return 0;
}
void getNumber(int *input)
{
    cout<<"Enter an integer number:";
    cin>>*input;
}
void doubleValue(int *val)
{
    *val *=2;
}
