The multicellular organisms have collective cells which perform a specific function in the body.

Give some characteristics of dense irregular connective tissue.
As it is obvious from its name that the connective tissue connects the tissue and organs. The cells of the connective tissue are dispersed in the matrix. More collagen fibres are present in the dense connective tissue than in the loose connective tissue. That is why the dense connective tissue shows high resistance to the stretching. The 3 major types of connective tissue are irregular, regular and elastic.
