The four criteria used to select target markets are:
1. Psychographic Segmentation- This type of segmentation is which is related to personalities and attitudes. This include values, interests etc.
2. Demographic Segmentation- It is the segmentation which focuses on statistical data for a people group. It includes age, gender, income, location etc.
3. Behavioral Segmentation- This is the segmentation in which it shows how customer acts. This includes purchasing habits, spending habits etc.
4. Geographic Segmentation- This is the segmentation in which geographic borders are taken into consideration. This include country, climate etc.
