As a teacher I should be able to teach a subject that involves and includes activities during every session. I should use proper and clear language at an appropriate level that every student can understand. I, as a teacher, have to be enthusiastic and show interest in the subject. If we talk about a teacher’s responsibilities that includes identifying needs, carrying out initial assessments, planning learning, making rules, keeping records, preparing assessment, preparing activities and quality assurance, evaluations and making a health and safety environment as well as a teacher’s responsibility. (Gravells, 2012).
As an educator roles can vary from making lesson plans and assessing a child's ability to being a disciplinarian and enforcing classroom rules. From my professional experience alone my allocated teacher took on the role of lesson planning and explained it needed to be done weeks in advanced according to the curriculum being learn and the importance of a lesson plan being an instructional guide to the weeks ahead, other roles included assessing and evaluating students strengths and weaknesses in order to prepare activities to assist with their weaknesses' and enhance their strengths, preparing students for upcoming tests, communicating with other staff and parents to ensure all parties are aware of what is going on, supervising children during their break and extra curricular activities, planning excursions and developing a relationship with every child in the

Professionalism plays a big part in our lives as health care professionals. It governs the correct ways in which to practice ethically. It also features in all three articles.
This approach will allow students to fully understand the dynamic roles between the teacher and student. The skills educators must develop will assist the student’s role into becoming appreciative because they must consider teaching to be a lifestyle, not just a paycheck. A teacher's goal should be a trusted profession with the education of a young mind and must provide a quality education to all. Teachers should equip their students the necessary tools for different levels of knowledge and understanding, and for success in life. I think it is important for effective learning and teaching to first establish a mutually respectful honest relationship with students. Communication and honesty should become the first or highest priority and put into the method of teaching. Teamwork should also be put into demonstration in the classroom in order for students to prepare for adult interaction in the future.
