The presumably intended purpose of the Quest Behavioral Health website is to inform the visitors of their site about their programs, benefits, and services. They are a behavioral health provider who works solely with employers and subsequently their employees, and their families. They gear their website towards these two types of visitors. However, from a user experience standpoint, there is confusion in the purpose of the tabs and of the website in general. It is unclear whether it is meant to be only informational, or an online brochure of sorts.

This is not a good thing when a company works in an industry as complex and competitive as Quest.
The targets are employers looking for Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) and the beneficiaries of these programs. The content provided in the respective tabs for each audience is relevant - but could use more clarity and deeper explanation. They packaged their information into a few clickable PDFs. This might seem like a good idea, however it adds an additional step to a potential client, and the last thing a company wants to do is make its customers/client do work.

However, the pictures and text are just that - scrolling picture with text on them. They should link the user to the web page relevant to the text on the graphic Once the user leaves the homepage there are no longer any graphics. This brings down the appeal of the website significantly. The search engine within the website is functional, at best. Results are only displayed if the exact terms and keywords are typed in. This is a major drawback considering they have plenty of information they could be driving their traffic to. The results also seem to be a cluster, which looks less than professional.

The main purpose of this committee is to discuss Nebraska’s care plan on how to properly deal with behavioral health institutions and what policies should be implemented to behavioral health institutions in Nebraska. To make this better it would be ideal to use some consistency with the number of graphs, pictures, charts, diagrams, etc. you use with your worded explanations on each page.
