In war and times of conflict, America has intervened because they believe that it is their problem to try and solve. This is evident through speeches in World War I, propaganda in World War II, letters during Vietnam, biographies concerning the Soviet War in Afghanistan, and speeches from the War on Terror.

The United States has been a super power for decades, and since America has always involved themselves in other countries' problems. Instead of isolationism, the country has practiced getting involved. Since the Monroe Presidency, America has been named the World's police force. Dispelling anarchists, and stopping coos, the united states portrays itself as the world protector. Since Monroe, some Americans have felt that isolation is the way to go, and most feel that it is our right to offer assistance. Two recent incidents, Operation Desert Storm and The War in Bosnia have allowed the United States to show off it's strength, both on the military and political level. In today’s society domestic terrorism is one of the biggest threats to the United States. Some of these recent terrorist attacks include. Domestic Terrorism is when U.S. citizens carry out terrorist acts against other U.S. residents or groups.Many people think that the biggest threat of terrorism to the U.S. is from a foreign country, when in fact, the bigger threat is closer to home. Domestic terrorism is becoming a bigger threat to the U.S. than international terrorism and we need to find a way to prevent these attacks.

If America did not get involved there is a chance the conflict could have decreased but also increased due to America not being the only country to get involved in matters this is why this has become such a large scale issues du to too many interferences and also disturption and disputes between multiple country this results in country’s fighting and there being no solution to fix this major

April 15, 2013 hundreds of innocent Americans were traumatized forever. The 117th annual Boston Marathon was hit with an act of terrorism. Two-hundred-sixty people lost their legs while three people lost their lives. On this day Americans realized how important security is. One thousand federal, state, and local law enforcement personnel sat down and watched surveillance footage for hours tracking the terrorist that caused the Boston Bombing to occur. April 18, 2013 the FBI released footage and images of suspects whose identity was once unknown to gain more knowledge. Due to security footage the men who committed the monstrous act were brought to justice. Without the public surveillance these terrorist would have never been found. Tiara, I think you hit the nail right on the head. The United States government is a case in point that has helped a lot of countries and we continue to do so, on a regular base. We the people or government that the people elected help so much throughout the world because of our Christian faith this country was built on. There are times, such as after a war, the United States disengages from the country early leaving the citizens and an unprepared military to fend for themselves. Although things may have been not the best before we engaged in war, when leaving a country in an unprepared situation can result in rebel forces taking over, creating a possible more threating situation.

What if the Boston bombing never happened? If immigrants were forced to assimilate, events like the Boston bombing wouldn’t have happened. I believe that immigrants should be forced to assimilate into their new country. The Boston bombing was the result of two immigrants that let hatred take over themselves. The process of assimilation also helps each country’s economy to grow with a faster rate. But that is not all, assimilation keeps countries from dividing. From this, I believe immigrants should assimilate.

Homeland Security and law enforcement officials have several considerations that they must review before releasing information before, during, or after a terrorist’s attack on the public in a timely and accurate manner. Seemingly, this information may jeopardize an investigation or cause widespread panic among the people. Therefore, this information may be withheld from the public to safeguard national security to prevent the threat or scare the public further.

Since World War II, the United States foreign policy has metastasised to a global level. The United States has taken the position as the global police. We have done countless interventions to “better” the good of the world and its people. Yet, it seems we have forgotten about Americans themselves, who have to deal with the enormous costs of these interventions. When a tyrannous dictator takes control of a country in some far flung part of the world, the United States steps in. We use American soldiers and taxpayers dollars to oust the dictator. Then when a vacuum is created we go back and fight the terrorist group which has taken over. This has happened too many times. It shows the weakness of our foreign policy system. The cost of our military, foreign interventions, and aid has gotten out of control for a country with looming debt problems. As of 2015, military spending has taken up fifty four percent of our discretionary spending, coming out to a total of $598.5 billion dollars (Nationalpriorities.org). Many people say we need to focus on our own problems; although, some of our conflicts are connected with the world! We have many trading resources throughout the globe; therefore, we should have the right to intervene in a conflict involving a country we trade with (Duggan).

There are many issues facing America today, that simultaneously affect those around the globe. When trying to decide what is worse for the United States of America; being too involved in the affairs of other nations troubles or allowing evil to run free, we have to carefully look at both sides. I believe that evil can be contained, but we cannot be the babysitter of other nations.

Suicide bombing is a cruel way of hurting others and yourself. Some reasons why people do suicide bombing is because of trauma, humiliation, and social exclusion. They justify it by using liberation from foreign occupation or because of their nations religion.
