This is in fact true since AI has already begun to have reaping major benefits to the public in fields as diverse as health care, criminal justice, and also the education of individuals which will ultimately revolutionize society (Executive Office, 2016).

But, will it? There are many concerns that arise with the implementation of artificial intelligence within society. For the purpose of this essay, fields that impact or have a bearing on this decision in areas like military and ethics, health and social prospects, economics and job outlook, as well as the advantages and disadvantages it poses to humanity are examined.

It is the year 2560 and the Robot population has increased at a significant rate. They aren’t taking over quite yet, but they’re scarce and rapidly populating the Earth. These robots are extremely advanced and smart. They used to look exactly how humans do so you could’ve easily get your best friend confused with one; that is before they started disassembling. Ever since the early 2000s Robots have advanced, looking more and more like humans. However it wasn’t until the 2500’s where Robots started functioning as humans and taking our jobs. A large percentage of the human population in New York lost their jobs to robots and went into a huge depression. Humans were afraid of going up against Robots because they didn’t know what robots were capable of. However they soon came up with a conclusion to help one another.

Robots or no robots, this is the question. Robots are useful and desirable, because the can free us, humans, from many boring, repetitive, and easy tasks, and they can take care of us all 24/7, and at a very low cost as well; but at the same time the widespread of robots raises the question of whose jobs robots will overtake and where these people that nowadays are performing the boring, repetitive, easy tasks are going to work. Given the fact that technology advances at a constantly accelerated speed, this question seems more relevant than ever. But is it so?

Many different inventors have created robots in order to solve different problems. Robots can be used to do things that humans cannot do. Robots do not need oxygen and they are stronger and faster than humans. Using robots, humans can overcome challenges.

Robots are becoming more and more advanced. As employers implement more automation, it is likely that many will lose their jobs to a robot. Robots have already been employed in many industries successfully especially in manufacturing. This automation improves the productivity in manufacturing and in effect, reduces the costs to make products. Manufacturing jobs now populated by people have many Musculoskeletal disease risk factors. With the application of robots, workers will not have to put themselves at risk for personal injury caused by MSD’s. Research shows that repetitive work can cause musculoskeletal diseases in humans, but fortunately, robots are starting to acquire the tedious, manual labor jobs that enhance these diseases more; therefore, robots are seen as an ethical improvement to job safety and wellness.
