The FitnessGram is a special fitness program that is used to measure and report the physical activity in students and other youth. The purpose of the fitnessgram is to allow for children and teens to have a good understanding of not only what a healthy lifestyle is but, to be able to measure their own physical health and manage it. This program raises awareness of the importance of being physically active and gives children an opportunity to set goals and measure their progress.
