Working as a loss control consultant for XYZ manufacturing company, various aspects of information need to be acquired prior to visiting. Assessing procedures for safety awareness and loss prevention practices, while reporting outcomes, and then deliberating with the underwriters. Within XYZ manufacturing company these areas include the following topics: record logs, the number of workers, ergonomics, the hazard level, training and orientation plans, and previous work recovery programs. Developing a new policy for XYZ manufacturing company will be produced through evaluation and modification of these areas.

Gateway Community College Central City Campus (former Maricopa Skill center) targets “at-risk”, low-income students, such as school dropouts, students just out of correction facilities, Hispanic students and more. That’s why the campus has the Essential skills trainings Department and the testing center. They do all kinds of testing from GED to Accuplacer and various professional testing. A lot of different resources are available for students to pass a basic assessment tests in English and Math. Not to mention that all the programs the campus offers are entry-level, trade skill programs that require no or minimum prerequisites. The technical l program I have chosen for my paper is UAF Community and Technical College. UAF College is one that offers a multitude of certificate programs and two year degree plans. The College provides educational opportunities for those who prefer a more traditional program as well as those who prefer the nontraditional programs. Military personnel, night shift workers, and those with families represent a good portion of the population audience within the college. Over the course of my education experience, I’ve been to four higher educational institutions. However, the one I want to highlight is Roberts Wesleyan College (RWC).

The Missouri State University public affairs mission has three pillars which are ethical leadership, cultural competence, and community engagement. If I were offered this scholarship, I would embrace all three pillars and exemplify them on campus.

This is an attempt to resolve the issues between Terry and Bill, who have two children. The first child is Dawn, and she is having trouble adjusting to the lack of attention from her parents. The parents are traditional, where as the father works and the mother stays at home. Both her parent used to be extremely focused and attentive on Dawn; subsequently, her sibling, Darren has congenital heart problems. Darren require more attention, and the parents are having difficulties paying for his medical need, as a result Dawn is lonely without her parents. Her father works long hours to pay for Darren’s abundant medical costs, and her mother is so tired of bills and caring for Darren that she expect Dawn to be a grownup; nevertheless, Terry assumes Dawn is much more mature than Darren. They are high and unreasonable expectations for Dawn. (Broderick and Blewitt, 2014).

During my internship at the Phoenix VA I got to rotate trough a couple of rotations. I went from Mental Health Intensive Case Management program team to the Patient Alliance Care Teams. They were quite different from each other when it came to interacting with the Veterans. I utilized my critical thinking skills, insight, key concepts, and skills and techniques. I learned about different techniques for the same interventions from different social workers. I went from a long-term assigned case load to a very acute fast paced case load. One very important insight or analogy that a supervisor gave me was that to think of a digging a whole 5 feet deep and only making it a couple of inches wide and compare it to digging a whole only a couple of inches deep and making it 5 feet wide. That is a perfect example of how to look at these departments different as far as patient interaction, rapport building, engagement and assessment goes.

The University of Texas has ran into issues with accepting new students. They want to have a more diverse school that has a lot of minorities. This started to cause problems among the students and parents. 75 percent of admissions are based on the graduation ranks and academic levels, the remaining percent is based on a “holistic” evaluation which includes race and gender. Abigail Fisher, a white woman, claims she was denied admission to the university because they were trying to increase the amount of African Americans and Hispanic students that attended the school thus costing Abigail her spot there.

Arkansas Tech University is one of the best colleges in Arkansas, because the cost, entertainment, and courses offered are the best compared to other colleges. ATU has amazing degree programs that will benefit any student to get any degree in his or her major.

Many students in college make the mistake of not taking advantage of school resources and activities. Afterall, taking advantage of college’s resources and participating in activities is what completes the full college experience. Those type of people believe that the only thing universities have to offer is education. While that is partially true, universities offer more than just classes. Universities such as Cal Poly Pomona, offer a variety of different things that can help students succeed. Not only does it offer helpful activities and enjoyable events but universities intend to keep it a safe campus in order for students to enjoy their full college experience. Cal Poly provides students with a good learning environment with many resources, school safety and social events.
