On January 31st, 1969, Gail Miller had been on her way to work as a nurse, when she was raped and murdered in the snow. Meanwhile, sixteen-year-old David Milgaard went on a road trip, along with his friends Ron Wilson and Nichol John. They stopped to pick up their friend Albert Cadrain in Saskatoon. The man living in Albert’s basement was serial rapist Larry Fisher, who was then unknown to the police. He was responsible for Gail Miller’s rape and murder.

In Alabama in the early 1970’s, there was a height and weight limitation, in order to be considered as a candidate for becoming a prison guard. The restrictions were minimum 5’2 and 120 pounds. Such requests ruled out Dianne Rawlinson, who made a class action suit against the requirements, as she thought that they violated Title VII of the Civil Rights Act. Dianne Rawlinson raised the legal question in Court whenever height and weight requirements for employment as a prison guard in the Alabama would violate Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment.

R/s Elouise Ethridge has cancer and is doing chemo treatments. R/s Ms. Ethridge has a blood circulation problem in her legs and it affects her mobility. R/s everyday Ms. Ethridge and her son, James fight and LE is called out to the home once a week. R/s on yesterday according to James, his mother had her hand in his face, so he slapped her. R/s LE responded to the home and James was arrested, but later released. R/s there is concerned that Ms. Ethridge and James are going to kill each other. R/s James sometimes double up on his medication and calls to the ambulance. R/s James abuses the system by saying he needs to go to a mental institute, but he only he does it to get out of the house.

The rape and murder of Pamela George, an Indigenous sex worker from Canada, remains as one of the most prescient examines of colonial violence and spatialized justice. This essay examines the George case in light of broader ideas about race, gender, and sexuality. In particular, it questions the role of the Canadian legal process in light of white privilege, and the lack of humanity and dignity gave to women of Indigenous descent. I will begin by outlying how George autonomy was taken away through stigmas attached to sex work and her Indigeneity. Next, I will contextualize this within an ongoing and historical process of colonization and existing literature relating to structural violence against Indigenous women.

The reporting party (RP) stated 55 year old Bernard Niemczyk DOB: 11/3/60 was found in his wheelchair in the middle of the street without any pants. Bernard was admitted to the home at the address listed as an independent resident on 12/19/15 and was found in the road on 12/20/15. Bernard was taken to Desert Regional Medical Center on a 5150 hold. When Bernard was admitted to the hospital he required total care. He was unable to walk or perform any of his activities of daily living. The RP stated Bernard should not have been accepted into an independent living facility. Prior to Bernard placement in the home he had been a patient at Riverside Hospital from 10/15/15 to 12/19/15.

Anna stroke lives with her husband Steve Stork in a three-bedroom apartment in Newport Richey, Florida. Her both parents are deceased. Anita Stanley came into the fiscal services department today about getting a reimbursement for the gas she had to pay out of pocket for a state van. She got very mad and upset when she found out she wasn’t going to get the money back today. There is a process when getting a reimbursement through the state. I could hear her yelling and telling Dee that she wanted the cash now. Anita even wanted Dee to take $20 out of her own pocket to give her. Roodelyne Pierrelus is currently a student at Miami Dade Honors College where she is majoring in Biology. Her eagerness to become a Family Physician has kept her motivated and inquisitive because it is her goal in life to help others in any way possible. Case Study: An older woman was partially paralysed as she had a stroke. Her carers came into her home two times a day, her husband cared for her the rest of the day. Her husband became increasingly aggressive behaviour. One day at night, she asked him to help her to the toilet, he pushed her and she fell on the floor and hitting and slapping in her face. one day she called Social Services, they saw bruise on his face, injury in his knee and he was depressed. Social services also noticed that she could not move properly and due to her back pain and lot of unexplained marks. She is seeking help and was crying. Social service sent her to GP for treatment.

Brenda is a sixty-four-year-old Caucasian female, who resides with her daughter in a three story home. At her home, Brenda must use three steps when entering the front of her home with no railing, as well as five steps when entering the back of her home, however, railing is present for her safety. Brenda can be classified as an independent, right-hand dominant woman when participating in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) specifically bathing of her upper extremity (UE) and lower extremity (LE), in dressing her UE and LE, and showering. Brenda is independent when participating in Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADL’s) specifically meal preparation, financial management, and driving and community mobility. Brenda has a no prior use of adaptive devices when participating in ambulation activities via in or out of her home. Brenda graduated with her Masters of Education and works as an elementary school teacher. She is involved in helping her community as well as her church where she volunteers one a week, she also volunteers once a month at the local senior center. In the past three days, Brenda has experienced shortness of breath chest pain and weakness which lead to her having an unwitnessed fall. Brenda’s daughter discovered her on the floor and noticed a decrease in movement in her mother, she also noticed Brenda experiencing difficulties when trying to get off the floor.
