Understanding the Board Mission: OhioMHAS strives to provide quality mental health and addiction services valued by all Ohioans (OhioMHAS Mission, Vision and Values, n.d.) The board is held to Chapter 4757 of the ORC. (Chapter 4757 - ORC | Ohio Laws, n.d.)
Disciplines Regulated by the Board The board has the authority to deny an individual's application for examination, issuance, renewal, or to suspend, revoke, reprimand, or impose restrictions on any certificate of registration or supervision endorsement issued under Chapter 4757 of the Revised Code (Rule 4757-11-01 - Ohio Administrative Code | Ohio Laws, n.d.). Failure to meet requirements in Chapter 4757 or violating ethical or professional conduct codes may lead to consequences.
Board Information The Board meets quarterly per past meeting notes  ( Meeting Minutes , 2020). There are three different boards in the state of Ohio. - Counselor Professional Standards Committee - Social Work Professional Standards Committee - MFT Professional Standards Committee The Committees contain a broad spectrum of individuals who are considered the leaders in this state. - 7 Men - 7 Women
