List five benefits of including all children in all activities. Answer: While providing education in childcare services, it is very crucial to include and encourage children to participate in all activities. Benefits of including children in all activities are:  It will help to build up children confident level,  It will help them to develop the relationship among the team during task performance,  It will activate the children’s talents,  It will broaden the children’s horizons. 2. List three ways of ensuring curriculum decisions promote the inclusion and participation of all children. Answer: Failure to encourage children in activities participations might lead to different negative result. That is why, Childcare centre must ensure their curriculum will promote the inclusion and participation of all children. Below three ways can help to ensure:  Selecting the subject of study or activities with respect to children potential  Selecting the activities or programs where each child can participate without hesitation regardless of race, age, gender, ability.  Discussing and selecting the curriculum or programmes with managers, colleagues and other key stakeholders including parents and guardians. Activity 1B Estimated Time 10 Minutes Objective To provide you with an opportunity to identify how to demonstrate a belief in children’s capacity to succeed in all interactions with families and children List five ways of demonstrating a belief in a child’s capacity to succeed. Answer: Demonstrating belief in a children’s activities will help them to achieve success by triggering their hidden strength and talents. Five ways of demonstrating a belief in children are:  Maintaining a positive and energetic attitude with them.  Focusing and encouraging on children’s attributes and strengths  Praise children for their great or small work because it will motivate them.  Give a smile facial expression and make eye contact with them during interactions to build trust.  Interact or speak with children and with related families on that you believe on them.
