In Watch: What is a Ph.D. in Psychology at Liberty University? , you were introduced to what it means to hold a biblical worldview and you were encouraged to think about how your research area would be examined from a biblical worldview. Think about the construct you examined last week in discussion and then consider how that area of research could be examined from a biblical worldview. Using some of the tools identified in Watch: What is a Ph.D. in Psychology at Liberty University? or other tools you use for Bible study, please answer the following: How does the Bible talk about your construct of interest? (Please note that even if your specific construct is not mentioned in the Bible, something related to it is, so discuss how the Bible speaks into your research area of interest). As I watched What is Ph.D in Psychology at Liberty University I was introduced to psychology from a biblical worldview. The construct that I selected and will examine in relationship to a biblical worldview is that of trauma. The bible speaks on my construct of interest of trauma in a great deal. A primary book in the bible that speaks about trauma would be that of Hebrews. The bible further explains trauma in scriptures that were written after Christ. Individual behavior guided by a belief system that derives from a conceptual framework can be referred to as a worldview (Huffman, 2012). From there, it is imperative to integrate the Christian worldview within psychology as individuals tend to convey personal values, beliefs, and ideas as a behavior guide ( Romanowski & McCarthy, 2009). The biblical perspective surrounding my topic that I read last week in the research literature topic aligned perfectly with the overall purpose, meaning, and though process of individuals suffering from trauma. Biblical teachings tend to place a great emphasis on teamwork, leadership and pursuing excellence within the topic to guide developmental leader within their environments to flourish while remaining humble. Within the workplace individuals have an expected obligation to moral standards and when not followed correctly they strongly react inversely. (Thornton- Lugo & Rupp, 2021). By following Gods words/example we as professionals not only set standard for the definition of love but also that for justice and equality.   References: Huffman, D. S. (Ed.).
