Part D Resubmit Question 3 B) Outcome 1 1.3 Children develop knowledgeable confident self-identities, and a positive sense of worth. F) 1: I had demonstrated how close we can be to the fire pit and what we can do, can’t do and to be safe. 2: Discussing what fire can do when we are too close and if comes out of the fire pit. G) I: Nate had developed more to his ability to think by himself on how the fire works with some assistance and how to pick when it is safe to go near the fire pit and when it is not safe. II: I will support Nate with his thinking and his concepts of the fire and how I can support him a lot more about the fires. III: I had support Nate on reasoning with him about what we can put in the fire and what we are unable to put in, and what safety we need to take with the fire. IV: By supporting Nate to process the information that has been provided to him. By asking Nate questions about what will happen when we put this in the fire. Can you guess what might happen next. Question 4 Nate had gone around the yard to collect leaves, sticks, anything that he thought was safe to put in the fire pit. Nate had said “this tumbleweed will be good for the fire; it will keep the fire burning for us”. Nate had demonstrated where he was allowed to be with the fire. Nate gave the children a demonstration on how close we are allowed to the fire and the other children took in Nates lesson that he provided to the children. Question 7 Cognitive Development Nate's thinking and reasons during the experience was great to see, he showed me that he had listened to all the information we discussed together and had applied it to the experience and explained to his peers about the same information we had discussed. Nate had demonstrated to his peers on what we can do safety with the fire.
Question 8 It is evident that Nate had used his cognitive, language and social development milestones during the experience by explaining to the children about the fire safety, Nate gave the children a demonstration on how close we are allowed to the fire and the other children took in Nates lesson that he provided to the children. Question 10 In the future I will organise an outing to the fire station or have the fire team come to the service to explain about fires to the children. Question 12 B) Outcome 2 2.3 Children become aware of fairness. D) They are role playing while mixing the potions, collaborate play between Cruz and his peers. It allows them to feel the different textures of the ingredients and the ingredients react together. F) 2: By asking Cruz open-ended questions and by using teacher-directed strategies in his experience. Question 13 Cruz had picked up the syringes and squeezed the top of it to pull up the vinegar and water to put into a container, then used the measuring cups to measure each ingredient out before putting them in a container and mixing the ingredients together. Question 16 Cruz was using measuring cups and eye droppers to pick up the ingredients and putting into his container, Cruz had to squeeze the sauce bottles into the measuring cups for him to use the eye droppers.
