I.List at least two tasks from the BACB Task List Fifth Edition and at least one item from the BACB Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts that are related to the Module. -G-5 Use modeling and imitation training. -G- 10 teach simple and conditional discriminations. -4.01: Conceptual Consistency. II. BACB Task List and Compliance Code We learned in module 3 how to practice modeling on clients during sessions. I was unaware that the client needed to possess the attending and imitation prerequisite abilities because the center where I work isn't the best for providing appropriate training or instruction. Without the ability to observe and replicate, the client will not be able to use the skill—whether it be in-vivo or on film. It was explored how to teach simple and conditional discriminating. The client is given a request, like "give me an apple." Antecedent, response, and consequence: If the client says "apple," they get the apple; if they say "play," they don't get the apple. According to the ABC sequence model, the behavior (or lack thereof) is the antecedent (teacher's instruction), the consequence (teacher's response to the behavior) comes after the behavior (B) (Cooper et al., 2020).
