In order to increase compliance and maintain it, I would like to provide all staff members with the most recent Joint Commission standards and guidelines. Given the various patient demographics at St. Catherine's and St. Luke's hospitals, as well as the densely diverse personnel at St. Luke's and Hickman Community Hospitals, it will be imperative to provide cultural diversity training when integrating these three institutions. St. Catherine’s Strengths possesses a diverse workforce; complies with legal hiring procedures; doesn't turn away patients; treats all employees with respect, regardless of their faith; and has a reputation for offering high-quality care. The HIM department's low production levels may adversely impact patient satisfaction by causing a lack of quality services. At the facility, initiatives to promote innovation will raise standards for both care quality and efficiency. The company has the ability to improve the skills and capabilities of its HIM staff through development programs. (Skurka, 2017) Threats Prolonged coding time negatively impacts waiting time. Additionally, the utilization of unqualified people leads to a lack of quality services.
