Cullen shared with Chiney feelings of stress and being overwhelmed. Use this information to answer both prompts below. o Based on your answer to Question 5 of Part I, how does Cullen's use of Excedrin intersect with the self-care continuum? Briefly explain your thoughts using an example from Cullen's situation. o Using one of the resources below, identify an article or post that discusses strategies or an approach for handling stress or anxiety. Define the approach/strategy. How may it help manage or relieve one's stress or anxiety and ultimately support their health and well-being?  Elaborate on your response. Cullen should avoid drinking alcohol because it is a factor that increases the risk for the body to metabolize acetaminophen. Likewise, Cullen should stop taking the Dayquil because he is exceeding the maximum daily amount of 4,000mg, causing an increased risk for the body to metabolize acetaminophen, causing damage to the liver. A heating pad would change the topical acetaminophen from a local to systemic drug effect. The topical acetaminophen likely contains methyl salicylate, which interacts with Excedrin. Both would cause Cullen to be taking more acetaminophen, which is exceeding the daily limit. He should listen to Chiney and go the emergency room due to the fact that he is experiencing side effects that could hint to taking too much acetaminophen. Cullen’s use of Excedrin intersects with the self-care continuum at the self-managed ailments. He is faced with a headache, which is
something that can be treated with OTC medication and does not require him to seek medical care. In the Student Wellness Center site, there is a page that addresses emotional wellness.
