Annotation
This analysis is a look at the relationship of instructional design and practice and
theory, how the two disciplines intersect, and how to best approach them as educators and professionals. Education must take the lead to promote professional track to propose accredited organizations to cooperate with educators to engage academic standards and focus the alignment with professional practice. The use of theoretical framework as a tool to benefit the practice and implementation to influence the design instruction in education today and for the future. Educational change fosters the link of theory and practice to shape the design approach for successful instruction. The design approach includes an analysis of five theories which include cognitive, constructivist, distributed cognition, and connectivism. A collection of information regarding these theories provides a model for examination of the theory groups and putting them into practice (Cort et al., 2003).
