Any two papers submitted with word-for-word answers will both be scored as zero points. Five essays at 14 possible points each (for a total of 70 points possible). 1.- Within the framework of the Third Paradigm (Internet, Digital media, and Data), marketing's return on investment (ROI) increased substantially. Why? It increased because of the internet everything is ran on social media and other platforms so from it being market and it getting views the data taken shows that there is a rise and with it being on the internet and it being shared it’s getting a lot of foot traffic and is being brought out. 2.- Consider the business that you currently work for, or the industry that you are planning to work in after graduation, and briefly describe a change or two that you see coming in that industry as a result of the changes we have been studying. I work in pharmaceuticals and with is rapidly growing i see that the changes that are happening are heading towards more pharmaceutical companies and more people getting their meds through mail versus going to the retail pharmacy to pick up their medications. We also see a lot more of people asking for their meds to be mailed to them especially our elderly community and it helps them out so it won’t be a struggle to get them. 3.- On page 9, Figure 1 shows the technological landscape of the Fourth Paradigm. Imagine that you are the Instructor, and explain this diagram to the class.
As you see on the diagram numbers 1,2,3,4 make up 5 and all of to goes in to make up number 6 and it all comes together and will with the last one 4.- We have talked about the importance of "trust" in several areas (1) firms must build trust with their customers; (2) manufacturers must build trust within their value chain (supply chain and distribution channels); (3) advertisers must be able to trust their publicity firms and media outlets… Discuss what it takes for an organization to build trust with its stakeholder groups (…if you are not familiar with the term “stakeholder groups,” you may want to start by researching that term). It takes numbers and how the business is ran to build their trust and how much time and effort they put in to the work . How they handle situations is a big one of the stake holders feel that the situation isn’t handled properly they will pull out so quick . They are very observant and they watch social media they don’t want to be apart of any business that don’t value the customers or the work of the stakeholders. 5.- In the Chapter 1 section on the First Paradigm, the author presents marketing before the advent of radio and television as having been focused on product quality and market awareness. What did radio and television bring to marketing that changed that focus? Radio and television brought more awareness to the business that was running sales or that had just opened before all of this it was word of mouth and maybe some flyers and signs
