Conclusion from a biblical worldview
o
How will Christian values and beliefs influence and help you run your business?
o
Do you believe these values will lead you to greater success?
Your formal business plan must state your business goals, the reason why they are attainable, and specific plans for reaching them. It is a “blueprint” for running your company and is also used to demonstrate to banks and investors that your company can make a profit. It must integrate the key business concepts and elements discussed in this course: Description, Marketing Plan/Strategy, Competitive Analysis, Industry and Market Analysis, Operational Issues, Human Resources Plan, and Financial Projections. It should explain the purpose of the company, evaluate its competition, and indicate a strategy for acquiring sufficient funds to keep the firm going.
Your Business Plan will be evaluated based on your thoroughness and your ability to communicate support for the idea. Be sure to use six academic sources to support your ideas, one including your course textbook, and the others can be found
in the CCU Library.
Thrilled Creations - Plant & Herbal Shop
Executive Summary Thrilled Creations will be the business's name and will be in Sealy,
Texas, and as the sole employee at Thrilled Creations, I will be the
owner and operator. My business will primarily be producing its own products. As our reading states, "Operations management consists of all the activities required to produce goods and services” (Pride et al., n.d., Chapter 8.1). Thrilled Creations consists of several areas that work together to produce a complete. Most of the company's operations revolve around planting, developing, selling, and processing plants and herbs into
goods. It is best to lay out the components of Thrilled Creations to
see how manufacturing and distribution are interwoven. Thrilled Creations will be the company's name, and it will be based in Sealy, Texas. Colossians provides another connection between this name and the Bible: "He created everything in heaven and on
earth, seen and unseen, such as thrones, powers, rulers, and authorities. Everything was created through him and for him." At Thrilled Creation, our mission is to provide growers, collectors, and influencers of plant & herb production for health & well-being purposes. We plan to do that by helping our clients with a made-to-order system specific to their individual needs, along with many other daily-use products. With the intent to provide funds for organizations fighting against human trafficking. Creative concepts are constantly being found. There's always room for creativity, which drew me to create this business. The main goals are to grow plants and herbs—emphasizing rare varieties—and produce several products that enhance well-being and health. I handcraft all products and cultivate every plant I
grow on my property and the surrounding natural habitat. After cuttings and seedlings have taken root, they can be shared!
I would like to see my business get involved in the fight against human trafficking and slavery, as well as in the rescue and rehabilitation of people who have been harmed or forced into enslavement by these practices.
The company's mission statement is "Inspired by His Creation, Handmade by His Brilliance," focusing on maintaining the integrity of products made by God's hands. Whether growing plants & herbs, to herbal natural products, to custom-made items,
prayer and inquiring of God for each product is continuous. All products are made with creativity, love, direction, and prayer. The Bible verse Deuteronomy 8:18 is referenced, reminding us that God gives us the power to create wealth and fulfill his promises to our ancestors." I have been raised around plants, landscaping, art, and family members who can create beyond the average extent. After years of wanting something more and my own business, incomplete college attempts, and many family distractions, I have decided to pursue a business of growing and
selling rare varieties of plants, herbs, and trees. The herbs and plants that can be produced can be used as health and well-being
products to be sold. One unique aspect of the business is homemade, hand-grown, all-natural, and organic production. Also,
the business started with no money but items I already had. There will be a start-up cost for a few things, but most are already
here. With little overhead and low monthly costs, most sales will be pure profit once the product is produced. TC was formed as a sole proprietorship and will operate from my home, the land here, and a 10x16 building equipped to grow and a small office space in the back. Executive Summary
