St. Flour, Bishop and Confessor

 
HE was the apostle and first bishop of Lodeve in Languedoc, and of the Cevennes, and died about the year 389. A church was built on the spot where his relics were interred. St. Odilo founded there an abbey which was converted into a bishopric by John XXII. The saint’s relics are kept in the cathedral. The town is situated in Upper Auvergne.
